May is a wonderful month to honor our Mothers. “The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world” is a famous quote and often true. We know God made Motherhood to be a blessing to mankind and keep it going. Thank God for our Mothers.
We have many good books about Mothers; for Mothers; for Grandmothers; for Mothers in Law; for Mothers to be; for Mothers in the Bible; for Mothers who have hobbies; for Mothers who want a Christian home. Come and see our display and pick a good one to read. Be inspired to do a special deed for your mother or someone else’s.
We have a new helper in the Library. She is Kim Haeger. She and her husband have been coming to our church for about a year now and she is experienced in Library work. Look for her when you come in and say, Welcome.
A big event for us is coming in June. The day of Homecoming for us is June 5th. That day we will be having “OPEN HOUSE” in the Library all morning and even after lunch. Someone will be in there to show you around and offer you refreshments and a gift. You will be seeing posters and announcements about this special day so keep your eyes open. Lots of new books have come in just since January this year. I want to thank all the people who donate such wonderful books. We always have some free books to give away because of duplicates, etc. Please check the “free book” cart.
Come in and you ‘MAY’ find a good book, you “May” want to check out something, you “May” meet our new helper, Kim, and you MAY find out more about our OPEN HOUSE.
