20th Annual Run for the Son 5K Fundraiser

Join us as we celebrate a major milestone at the 20th Annual Run for the Son 5K, hosted by the Gilmer Christian Learning Center! This exciting community event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters for a morning filled with fellowship, fun, and a shared purpose.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for your next race, someone who prefers a casual walk with friends, or simply passionate about supporting a meaningful local ministry, this event offers a great way to get involved. Every step taken and every registration helps further the mission of the Gilmer Christian Learning Center as they invest in the lives of students and families throughout our community.

There are multiple ways to participate. You can sign up to run or walk the 5K, partner with the event as a sponsor, or join as a “Phantom Runner.” Phantom Runners play an important role by supporting the fundraiser through registration and giving, even if they’re unable to attend in person.

This is a family-friendly event, open to all ages, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while making a lasting impact.
