Read it again. Enjoy it to the fullest. Go outside and see the beauty of God. Are you ready for summer? This verse will instill a feeling of love in you. God knows we need the beauty of flowers, the refreshing rain and the warmth of the sun. Go find a flower blooming…find a wild violet or a pipsissewah hiding in the grass…look for robins digging in the dirt….look for butterflies in the lilies. God’s bounty is all around you. Maybe you want to plant something; maybe you want to build a new birdhouse or just hang up one you have; maybe you want to go buy a gift for your mother or a friend like a mother to you just to say “I love you”. I am sure you can find a good deed to do for a friend.. Walk in a garden; feed the birds; look for a waterfall; and did I say, “read a book”? well, that is because this is a library article and I have to get a plug in for books.
I think of times with my family because of Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and weddings coming up. Our homes are the foundation of our Christian beliefs. Pray for your family and ask God to help you be the person to witness to them of God’s love. “The Lord corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” Proverbs 3:12
