Run For The Son ’24

The Gilmer Christian Learning Center is hosting its 18th annual Run for the Son 5K fundraiser on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. This year the ministry is offering both in-person and virtual options for participants.

In-Person:

When: May 4th, 2024 (registration and packet pick-up begins at 7am and will continue until 8am). Fun Run & 5K
8:15AM -Tot Trot immediately after (weather permitting)
Where: Gilmer Scout Hut beside First United Methodist Church | 75 McCutchen St, Ellijay, GA 30540
Course: The race will start and finish near the Scout Hut. The course is a flat, fast course through beautiful Ellijay GA.

Virtual:

When: Anytime before noon on May 4th. Submit your time for your 5K through the link provided on our website
(www.gilmerclc.org/5K).
Where: Your house, your street, anywhere you want to run!

General Information:

Results: Results will be posted to www.gilmerclc.org, Active, BT Race Timing, and Athlinks.
Awards: Awards for Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, plus top 3 in 5 year age groups – Cup of
Legends and Cup of Champions will be awarded to the top teams in time submissions and registrations.
**Virtual runners are not considered for awards and will not be placed in the official results for the race.**

To Register:

1. Download the registration form below and drop it off at the Run For The Son table in the foyer with your payment.
Entry Fee: $25 until 4/26/24 | $30 after 4/26/24
Teams of 10 or more before 4/26/24 – $23 each |
Day of registration: $30
**T-shirt size and/or t-shirts are not guaranteed after 4/26/24**
