The PGBC Choir Presents “The Risen Christ”

The Pleasant Grove Sanctuary Choir is beginning rehearsals on the Easter musical The Risen Christ. This musical is a wonderful cele-bration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The story of Jesus’ life, crucifixion and resurrection is told through the narratives of John the Apostle, the Apostle Peter, and Mary Magdalene all adapted from Scripture. The musical also is made up of a collection of songs by Keith and Kristen Getty and Stuart Townend. These songs are truly exciting and moving in telling the good news of what Christ has accomplished for us all through His death, burial, and resurrection. The presentation of The Risen Christ will be on Palm Sunday, April 13, at 11:00 AM.

If you are of middle school age through adult age, you are invited to join the Sanctuary Choir as we begin work on this project. Our mission is to use our voices to the glory of God and the praise of His name. You are more than welcome to be a part.

Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM and on Fridays. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Doug Lee or any member of the choir.
