Join us this Sunday for a special Homecoming Service as we celebrate 168 years of God’s faithfulness at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. During the service, we will also take time to remember and honor church members who have gone home to be with the Lord during the past year.
We are honored to welcome Rev. Chris Reynolds from the Georgia Baptist Mission Board as he brings a message titled “Above Average” from Matthew 14:22–32.
In this familiar account of Peter walking on the water, we discover what it takes to move beyond an average faith and experience God in extraordinary ways. While most stayed in the boat, Peter was willing to trust Christ and take a step of faith.
In this message, we will explore three key truths:

Faith is strengthened by remembering God’s faithfulness in the past. - Peter Trusted What Jesus Could Do

Faith requires action and obedience, even when the outcome is uncertain.
