Teaser: Join us this week as we examine Romans 2:17–29 and Keeping Up Appearances.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dan Rosser brings a message titled “Keeping Up Appearances” from Romans 2:17–29. In this passage, Paul challenges those who take pride in their religious identity and knowledge of God’s Law while failing to allow that truth to transform their lives.
It is possible to have the right name, know the right things, and even display the right outward symbols while missing what God truly desires—a heart that is committed to Him. God is concerned with more than appearances. He looks at the heart and calls us to live out the truth we profess.
In this message, we will examine three important warnings:
A Name Without Substance
Having a religious identity means little if our lives do not reflect the truth we claim to believe.
A Teaching Without Example
Knowing and teaching God’s Word must be accompanied by a life that demonstrates what we teach.
A Symbol Without Commitment
Outward religious symbols cannot replace genuine faith and wholehearted commitment to God.
This message challenges us to look beyond appearances and honestly examine whether our lives reflect the faith we profess.
