We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I love the mountains of North Georgia and am very grateful that God
allows me to live here. For me, living here is just another example of God’s grace in my life and I am very grateful for
His grace.

Recently, we had the blessing of getting to travel to South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana to see some National Parks
and a couple of state parks. To say that I was blown away by the artistry, grandeur, and creativity of our amazing God
would be an understatement. The sheer size and variation of what we saw just within a short distance was unbelievable. In South Dakota, the Badlands are less than two hours from Custer State Park, but the differences are amazing. Even within
Custer State Park there are dramatic differences in the handiwork of God and all of it is beautiful.

However, getting to see Yellowstone was almost surreal is some ways. The color and variation of areas around Old
Faithful and Grand Prismatic, to the majesty of mountain peaks over 10,000 feet and waterfalls that were beautiful is
simply more than I can put into words. In seeing all of it, I was more and more blown away by the mind of God to create all of this for us to enjoy.

It is impossible to overstate His creativity and love for showing us such beauty in His creation. I was telling a wise friend about this, and they reminded me that what we are seeing, as amazing and beautiful as it is, is still under the curse of sin. So, if we get to see this beauty though cursed by sin, how much more so will we see beauty in Heaven. In Heaven we will see perfection, nothing tainted by sin!

Until then we get to enjoy some amazing wonders of God’s handiwork. May we appreciate the attributes of God’s character in His creation, but may we long for the glory and perfection of His presence.
