We are now over halfway through the year but there is so much ahead of us in 2023. We set a goal before the year of baptizing 24 in 23 and so far, we have baptized 5. However, we shouldn’t be discouraged but instead we should pray with expectation. It is always in God’s will to pray for people to come to faith in Christ. May we pray with expectation and hope for a harvest of lost souls through the rest of this calendar
year.
On August 13th we will host the Spark Conference that will be put on by the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. This will be a great opportunity to be encouraged and get some training in areas of interest to you. Please go to our website and sign up and be a volunteer to help us get our guests in the right places at the right time. This conference is a region wide conference for northwest Georgia so we should have a
good crowd and we want to make it a great event for them.
Starting August 20th with the morning service we will begin our revival services. Dr. Emir Caner from Truett McConnell University will be with us Sunday morning.
- Sunday night Dr. Levi Skipper from the Georgia Baptist Mission Board will be with us.
- Monday night Dr. Frank Cox the pastor of North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville GA will be with us.
- Tuesday night Dr. Jeremy Morton pastor of FBC Woodstock will be with us
- Wednesday night Dr. Kevin Williams from FBC Villa Rica will be with us.
Each of these men are gifted and anointed preachers of the Word of God. Join us each service and you are sure to be blessed.
Sunday September 3rd, we will host an evangelistic outreach that I pray you will take full advantage of. Invite someone you know that doesn’t know Christ to join us. They will need a ticket to get into our parking lot. We will provide you with those tickets in the next couple of weeks. We will have food, fun, music and a message.
Kenny Evans will be with us, and he will be sharing his testimony after he sings. After Kenny is through, we will have a fireworks display. This is a great opportunity to reach out to that friend or family member that needs Jesus. We encourage you to bring chairs or blankets to sit on right beside our church here on the lawn between the parking lots.
Pray that God will use this time to bring people to faith in Him.
