PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION | Romans 3:21–25a
Speaker: Pastor Dan Rosser
Scripture: Romans 3:21–25a
Teaser: Join us this week as we see how God has displayed His love for us in Romans 3:21–25a.

In Romans 3:21–25a, Paul explains how God has made His righteousness known and demonstrated His love for a world in need of salvation. After showing the universal reality of sin, Paul turns to the hope found in God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ.
God’s love is not merely something He speaks about—it is something He has demonstrated publicly through the work of Jesus. This passage helps us understand why we need God’s righteousness, how it is made available to us, and how God has revealed His plan of salvation.

Sermon Points
1. God’s Righteousness Made Known
God has revealed His righteousness apart from the Law, making His plan of salvation known through Jesus Christ and affirming it through the Scriptures.

2. God’s Righteousness Made Available
God’s righteousness is available through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not something we can earn through our own goodness or accomplishments.

3. God’s Righteousness Made Necessary
Because all people have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, everyone needs the righteousness that only God can provide.

4. God’s Righteousness Made Public
Through Jesus Christ, God openly demonstrated His plan to address sin and provide redemption. The cross stands as the public declaration of God’s righteousness and His gracious provision for sinners.
