Teaser: Join us this week as we examine who is to judge from Romans 2:1–5.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dan Rosser brings a message titled “Who Is to Judge” from Romans 2:1–5. As Paul continues his letter to the church at Rome, he turns the focus from the sins of others to the condition of our own hearts. It is easy to recognize the failures of others while overlooking the same sin in our own lives.
This passage reminds us that God sees beyond outward appearances and judges with perfect righteousness. Rather than placing ourselves in the position of judge, we are called to examine our own hearts, recognize God’s goodness, and respond with repentance.
In this message, we will examine five important characteristics:
- The Wrong Judge
The danger of judging others while failing to recognize our own need for God’s grace. - The Right Judge
God alone is the righteous Judge who sees the heart and judges perfectly. - The Blind Judge
How our own sin can prevent us from seeing ourselves honestly. - The Ungrateful Judge
Failing to recognize and appreciate the goodness, patience, and kindness God extends to us. - The Unrepentant Judge
The seriousness of refusing to turn from sin despite knowing God’s truth.
Join us as we allow God’s Word to examine our hearts and remind us that the answer isn’t found in judging others, but in recognizing our own need for God’s grace and repentance.
