I want to tell you again what a blessing you are to me and my family! You have surrounded us with your love and prayers during a very difficult season of our lives. Having Carol pass so suddenly was a shock and left us feeling as if the rug had been suddenly pulled from underneath our feet. When our children were young she was their sitter and for almost 13 years she has been our youngest child’s sitter. I’m speaking of our dog Lizzy, of course! Her absence is great but your compassion has been so very helpful.
Not only did Carol pass away but so did two other faithful followers of Christ, Margie and June. I have no doubt those three ladies are rejoicing in Heaven and are having an amazing time with their Savior. It is very comforting to know that Heaven awaits all who belong to the Lord. It’s also a reminder that we must pray for the lost. Time is of the essence and we can’t afford to neglect telling others about Jesus.
I am praying that God will give us a burden for the lost and a boldness to share our faith. We don’t need to beat people over the head with the Gospel but we do need to share it with them. Pray that God will help you see ways to turn conversations into conver-sations about a personal relationship with Jesus. We can’t tell everybody around the world but we can tell those that God places in our path. Lord, open our eyes to see those appoint-ments you put in front of us each day.
