I just wanted to thank you for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord each week and as we have our special emphasis offerings. You don’t always directly see and hear what is accomplished through your giving, so I wanted to let you know what I re-ceived from Dr. Paul Chitwood the President of the International Mission Board.

Dear Pastor Rosser,
Thank you for leading a Great Commission church! As we head into our Week of Gratitude at the International Mission Board, I want to share how truly grateful we are for your partnership. Through your faithful prayers and generous giving through the Cooperative Program and Lottie Moon Christ-mas Offering® you are addressing the world’s greatest problem—spiritual lostness—with the good news of the gospel.

You and your congregation were part of a record giving year at the IMB. One of the incredible results of your support is the IMB missionary candi-date pipeline quadrupling over the past four years. Today, more than 1,200 candidates have begun the missionary application process. In 2019, that number was only 300. Thank you for being a part of this important growth! A missionary presence is how the gospel gets to the nations.

You are helping make sure that there are missionaries preparing to go into all the world with the Gospel! As we give may we also go into our community and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those around us. In May we will have a guest speak-er from the GA Baptist Mission Board come and share with us one Wednesday about how we can be prepared to share our faith. If we are going to reach our goal of 24 baptisms this year, we must pray and go! Let’s ask God to prepare the hearts of the lost to hear the Gospel and prepare our hearts with boldness to share our faith.

In His Amazing Grace, Dan
