As I write this article, we just had our Family Fu night with Kenny Evans and Sunday Drive. Both did a great job, and the Lord held off the rain just long enough to eat and hear the music, unfortunately we didn’t get to do the fireworks. Kenny shared the gospel in a clear and concise fashion and gave opportunity for anyone that doesn’t know Christ as their Savior and Lord to place their trust in Him. When Kenny gave an opportunity to pray to give their lift to Christ, five people raised their hands saying that they had prayed to trust Christ as Savior. We don’t have names for follow up, but God knows their hearts, so please be in prayer for them and pray that the seed that has been planted will bring forth genuine fruit for the Kingdom of God.

I want to thank our men who came in the middle of the night Saturday night/Sunday morning and smoked all the barbecue for us. It was great! I know it take a long time to do that, but I really appreciate you men doing that. We counted somewhere in the neighborhood of 260 people here Sunday night! Between the barbecue sandwiches, chips, and desserts they were well fed! By the way, you showed off with bringing desserts. I made the request to have you bring individually wrapped desserts and we could have fed the 5,000 with all you brought! Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration, but seriously, thank you for bringing all that dessert!

Just after the concert wrapped up the rain came, and we were not able to do the fireworks. However, God works everything together for the good, and we believe this gives us another opportunity to share the Gospel.

Wednesday night October 22nd, we are going to have our fall festival, and we will do the fireworks that night to close the festival. Before we start the fireworks, I will share the Gospel with those who come and invite ayone that has not trusted Christ as Savior to do so then.

Pray for good weather and pray for people that don’t know Christ to come to faith in Christ. God is doing great things here and I am excited for what He has in store for us. May we seek Him first and do everything we can to make Him known as we reach generations for Him that lives would be transformed together in Christ!

In His Amazing Grace, Dan
