Our big celebration for our 50th anniversary is over but the memories will last forever. See us on Facebook. I took books to read but never got around to reading them. Rejoicing with family in the mountains took all my time. Thank you for all the cards and prayers.

I would like to tell you about some of the books from the library I have read this summer. The first one is titled: AS AMERICA HAS DONE TO ISRAEL by John P. McTernan. You history buffs will love this. This gives you direct correlation between the alarming number of massive disasters striking America and her leaders pressuring Israel to surrender her land for peace. What can America do to change the direction of our country in relation to Israel? Is America on a collision course with God? Read how such disasters as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, and tornadoes have a direct connection to what we do to the Jews. This book is full of Jewish history and prophecy right out of the Bible.

The other books I read are about people traveling west on the Oregon Trail to settle California and other territories. The Titles are TREASURED GRACE and BELOVED HOPE by Tracie Peterson. Many exciting adventures with Indians and unknown lands. All based on Christian life and Biblical truths.

The two books about the Depression Era and hard times are by Leisha Kelly. JULIA’S HOPE and EMMA’S GIFT. You will enjoy the story of how one family deals with losing everything and traveling to live with family who are no longer even living. They end up with a new family and a new town to call home.

I hope you are enjoying your summer reading and will continue to visit the Library to see the new book displays.
